The Original Pancake House in Dallas

Multiple trips to Dallas, but this was our first time to try this place. So glad we did. Great service, amazing food (and food choices), and the added bonus of being able to check in ahead of time on yelp was a huge help. Looking forward to our next trip and a return visit to here.

T2hey have great servers and food is also great. Sometimes things are hit or miss. And the wait gets long. Their over all restuarants in various areas of the dfw are fairly clean and well kept. Their practices of keeping coffee hot and flowing is always a plus. Their fresh oj is awesome but pricey at 5 or 6 dollars a glass.

Always go here after taking my dad to the doctor. He doesn't get out much so when I get the chance to take him out this is usually the place he wants to go. The food is wonderful. We always order the Apple Dutch pancakes. Yummy! Dad is in a wheelchair and I use a walker. They always make dad feel special by holding the door and tending to his needs and mine. Wish they had better parking for wheelchair.

Yes, it's a chain, but it's so much better than IHOP.

Were do I start its amazing customer service I have never had a issue i been going here for the past 2 years every weekend and I had a issue and I meet the manager George and he was amazing he helped me and maked my experience amazing i wish all the managers of other restaurants take a page out of his book

Good food, excellent customer service, nice friendly manager, his name was carlos, we go here a lot and the employees are also friendly. We went to the location on northwest and midway, and we will continue to go there.

Food was prepared very well and it came out promptly plus our service was exceptional. Our server was very friendly and acted as she was happy we were there. We enjoyed eating there and are looking forward to the next visit.

Food was delicious. Tacos and pancakes were delicious. A little pricey for a pancake place but considering the location and the quality, not bad I guess. Awesome!!

Clayburn was helping you he was amazing the whole stuff was helpful best breakfast in town! I was so stressed about moving today and needs good ole pancakes and they were amazing and great coffee and freshly squeezed juice just amazing and I am a very hard to please guy!

The omelet is huge and will fill you up. Coffee is smooth and every meal here is great.

Great pancakes!Sometimes the service is a little bit slow.Great for families. They have high chairs and then can go off the menu to cook for kids. We always order one scrambled egg for our baby and they are OK with that.Friendly staff and some of the servers go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your breakfast!

Went for my birthday 11-18. The service sucked. It wasn't peak time. We were constantly ignored. We notified the manager and still took forever. The waitress was training someone so I couldn't understand why 2 people couldn't keep up.

The Dutch baby is wonderful there is 20 minutes to have it prepared but it is worth the time and worth the money.

Just love pancakes, eggs and bacon at this place. Best in town.

Oh my goodness! This place is off the chain when it comes to having a good... No make that a great breakfast! Very friendly staff who come by to make sure everything is alright. The staff is only part of the story though. The food is the other part and it does not disappoint! I had the steak and eggs with three small buttermilk pancakes and my girlfriend got the ginormous apple pancake. All so tasty and has a good home-cooked feel. Loved the orange juice as well since it is fresh pressed! Come hungry!

I meet colleagues here for breakfast multiple times every month. They never fail to provide great service and food. I especially like the diced ham and scrambled eggs. They don’t mind substitutions, and that is great because I don’t want the carbs, and always ask for tomatoes. Their omelettes are awesome, and massive. I love them, but they are too big for an appropriate diet. I am headed there tomorrow morning again. See you at 6:30!

This is my second time here. This time around the waitress Jennifer W was very attentive. We wanted for nothing. Service was fast and prompt. She came and checked on us plenty....that is the type of service I like to see when I go to eat. I loved it so much that she was tipped 25%. Keep up the good job Jennifer. We see that you truly enjoy what you do.

We started out my husband's birthday here for breakfast. The food wasn't up to the old standards. Bacon was awful. It was coated with something that tasted rancid and it was very pricey. Coffee always tastes bitter. He was happy with his 49er Flapjacks at least. Gave it a 3 because the server was very nice and helpful or it would have been 1.

This was a nice experience! I had a healthy breakfast which the waitress helped me select! The place was clean, waiters very attentive, food brought out quickly and tasted very good!!!! The turkey bacon was nice and thick, oatmeal was delicious and the fruit was fresh! I recommend this restaurant!!!

Had the bacon lovers. Wow. Too much bacon. Never said that before. Only complaint is $3.89 for SMALL orange juice. Great, fast service. Would get scrambled eggs next time. Good pancakes (duh!)

My 1st time, great service, everything I ordered was delicious. Loved the coffee and the waiter (thin guy, red hair, very nice and smiled alot) was Amazing to my mom and I! Can't wait til my next visit😁

Very delicious I love their waffles and most of their waiters and waitress are wonderful. I just wish the had bigger tables otherwise comfortable and homey feeling. And the hot chocolate 🤑

Our server was phenomenal; she was helpful, friendly, attentive, and flexible. Food was delicious. My only complaint is that they no longer have potato pancakes.

I definitely got my money's worth. As far as quantity. Waitress was very good. I do have a problem when you charge $3.39 for one single pancake. Yes I did send it back. I have no problem if it had been a $1.00 or even a $1.50. if I'm going to pay $3.39 for a single pancake. I might as well purchased a whole stack for a few dollars more. Biscuits we're good. Gravy was too salty. Everything else was good.

This is one of the best breakfast places in Texas. However the environment and ambiance is quite outdated. Don't judge a book by its cover, but you're in for a treat regardless of what you order. Surprisingly they also have a variety of different gluten-free options as well as vegetarian options for breakfast and brunch. I've been going here for about 10 years and they're definitely keeping up with the times regarding their menu. Highly recommended!!!

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a delightful evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Out 1st time here we were a party of 5 there was a wait time of 25 minutes line out the door. Once seated more wait time to get our food. But once food arrived everything was so delicious freshly made nice and hot. Plus it was so much food left over. From the omelet literally 2 can eat from it, it's huge. But I seriously think food is a lil overpriced. Overall staff is very caring and polite great customer service they check up on you constantly.

Their banana pancakes are a winner!!! Blueberry...not so much, but the banana ones takes just like banana pudding! Melts in your mouth but have consistency! Bacon strip are thick and good. Should give larger portion of eggs go eat with the 3 strips of bacon that comes with meal
